Hi, I'm Lucas.

I'm a cross disciplinary designer based in São Paulo, Brasil.

I'm interested in designing experiences that enhance  how we live. In the past I've explored the design process through different solutions, learning about services, interfaces, physical spaces, wayfinding and products that make life a more pleasant journey. I am currently improving services at Livework Studio.

I spend my free time travelling, camping, playing music, listening people's stories, taking pictures and collecting plants and pebbles from places I go. Lately I've also been trying to slow down and improve the work / play balance in my routine.

Here you'll find some of my work and personal thoughts.
Feel free to say hi and chat about anything you like.

I hope we can improve something together ;)

On designing with passion.

Over the years I came up with my own list of what design is about. It became some sort of a personal design ethos that guides me through the process.

Designing is about solving problems, understanding people, putting them in or taking them out of their comfort zone and creating meaningful experiences that enhance our living. Design isn't made by designers, but very often by the people you talk to during your process. Design is knowing when and where to break the rules. It is less about going crazy with the solution and more about being considerate that someone needs to know how to use it. Design is about being honest and acknowledging we have a duty to the public good. Designing is having fun and making our stay in this planet a lot less painful.
